Section 38. Tenure of Licenses, Leases or Permits; Extent of Area. — No license or lease granted by the Director or Department Head shall continue in force for more than twenty-five (25) years, renewable for another twenty-five (25) years, upon faithful compliance with the terms and conditions of the license or lease. Permits may be granted on a yearly basis renewable for the same period at the option of granting authority.
Except as otherwise provided, the tenure and extent of area for a license, lease or permit shall be as specified hereunder:

Other special use permits and leases for the use or occupancy of the forest provided for in this Code shall be of such duration and extent as the Director may fix.
