Section 2. The City of Bislig. —

The Municipality of Bislig shall be converted into a component city to be known as the City of Bislig, hereinafter referred to as the City, which shall comprise the present territory of the Municipality of Bislig, Surigao del Sur Province. The territorial jurisdiction of the City shall be within the present metes and bounds of the Municipality of Bislig, as follows:

Bounded on the East, along line 1 to 4 by the Municipality of Lingig;

Bounded on the South, along line 4 to 5 by the Municipality of Lingig;

Bounded on the West, along line 5 to 7 by the Municipality of Trento, Province of Agusan del Sur;

Bounded on the North, along line 7 to 8 by the Municipality of Tagbina and line 8 to 9 by the Municipality of Hinatuan;

Beginning from point 1 of the Map which is corner MBM No. 11 of Cad 928 running 40º57'48" Southwest 3,629.76 meters towards point No. 2 which is MBM No. 10 of Cad 928; thence running 40º56'52" Southwest 9,660.40 meters towards point No. 3 which is MBM No. 9 of Cad 928 thence, running 37º49'44" Southwest 10,217.76 meters following the established municipal boundary of Lingig and Bislig to point No. 4 which is common corner of MBM No. 8 Cad 928 and PBM No. 8 Cad 950; thence, running 89º59'56" Northwest 7,693.33 meters following the established municipal boundary of Lingig and Bislig to point No. 5 which is a common corner of MBM No. 7 Cad 928 and PBM No. 7 Cad 950; thence, running 16º41'04" Northwest 6,651.19 meters following the established provincial boundary of Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur to point No. 6 which is PBM No. 6 Cad 950; thence, running 5º00'00" Northwest 15,300 meters towards to point No. 7, thence, in an imaginary line following the established municipal boundary to Tagbina and Bislig to point No. 8 intersecting Western side of PICOP Road 1; thence, due East 18,200 meters following the established municipal boundary of Hinatuan and Bislig to point No. 9 intersecting the Mouth of At-at Creek of Barangay Caguyao, Bislig; thence, in an imaginary line following the shoreline of Bislig Bay to point No. 1, the point of beginning.

Containing an approximate total land area of thirty-three thousand one hundred eighty (33,180) hectares more or less excluding the disputed portion between the province of Agusan del Sur and Bislig, Surigao del Sur based on the evaluation of the Municipal Base Map of Bislig prepared and submitted by the Regional Office.

This area of 33,180 hectares is subject to future change depending on the result of the ongoing cadastral survey, Cad 928-D, Bislig Cadastre.
