Article 86. Drunk on Duty. —

Any officer who is found drunk on duty shall, if the offense be committed in time of war, be dismissed from the service and suffer such other punishment as a court-martial may direct; and if the offense be committed in time of peace, he shall be punished as a court-martial may direct. Any person subject to military law, except an officer who is found drunk on duty, shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.
