Section 35. Prohibitions in the practice of mechanical engineering: penal provisions. —
Any person who shall practice, or offer to practice, mechanical engineering in the Philippines without being registered or exempted from registration in accordance with the provisions of this Act, or any person representing or attempting to use as his own the certificate of registration or the seal of another, or any person who shall give any false or forced evidence of any kind to the Board or to any member thereof in obtaining a certificate of registration, or any person who shall falsely impersonate any registrant or like or different name, or any person who shall attempt to use a revoked or suspended certificate of registration, or any person who shall use in connection with his name or otherwise assume, use, or advertise any title or description tending to convey the impression that he is a mechanical engineer or that he is registered under any of the grades enumerated in section eleven of this Act, without holding a valid certificate of registration for that grade, or any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this Act, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to a fine of not less than one hundred pesos nor more than one thousand pesos, or to suffer imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months, or both, in the discretion of the court.
